About the Festival
The St. Croix Caribbean Arts Festival (SCCAF) is an inaugural, island-wide gathering shaped through collaboration with artists, cultural organizations, local businesses, and community partners across Designed to invite attendees into an experience that unfolds across time and place.
Over the course of three days, visitors may move between a morning talk in a neighborhood space, an afternoon exhibition, and an evening performance, encountering artists, ideas, and conversations along the way. Moving through the festival means moving through St. Croix itself, experiencing creative work at one’s own pace.
Why St. Croix
St. Croix is not a backdrop for SCCAF—it is the foundation. The island’s layered histories, deeply rooted creative practices, and strong sense of place make it an ideal setting for a festival shaped by context, community, and artistic exchange. Our Vision
SCCAF envisions St. Croix as the arts capital of the Caribbean—a place where artistic practice, cultural exchange, and creative leadership are centered and sustained.
